OUR ACTIVITIY INFORMATION

Books are the quietest and most constant of friends. When you give a book to a child, you are giving them more than just words on a page you are giving them the keys to a world of possibilities.

A free book distribution program organized by our society for high school students those who wish to study but can’t afford text books. We wish them good luck for their future.

Sports play an important role in children’s lives. Not only do they provide physical benefits, but they also can help with the development of life skills. Through sports, children can learn how to work together, develop strategic thinking, manage time efficiently, and have fun. Sports also help children learn important life lessons such as perseverance, resilience, and how to handle success and failure In addition, sports can build confidence, create a sense of pride

We arranged sport events in different rural area for the children below poverty line to boost their mental and physical strength and introduce sportsman sprit in them.

ENVIRONMENT & COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

Awareness Generation (Plant Distribution)

DMDS (Deulbari Mass Development Society) is an NGO working on plantation and restoration in the Sundarbans region. Their efforts focus on:

1. Afforestation: Planting new trees in degraded areas to increase forest cover.

2. Reforestation: Replanting trees in areas where forests have been degraded or cleared.

3. Sustainable Forest Management: Promoting eco-friendly practices to maintain forest health.

4. Community Engagement: Collaborating with local communities to raise awareness and involve

them in conservation efforts.

5. Biodiversity Conservation: Protecting and preserving the unique flora and fauna of the Sundarbans.

The Sundarbans, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the largest mangrove forest in the world, stretching across India and Bangladesh. It’s home to the Bengal tiger and numerous other endangered species. DMDS’s work contributes to the preservation of this vital ecosystem and supports the well-being of local communities.

OXYGEN CONCENTRATOR DISTRIBUTION

DMDS (Deulbari Mass Development Society) NGO’s COVID-19 pandemic to till date support efforts are truly commendable! Their initiatives, including:

1. Oxygen Concentrator distribution: Providing essential medical equipment to hospitals, healthcare centers,

and patients in need. 2. Mask distribution: Offering protective face masks to vuinerable populations, frontline workers, and communities.

3. Sanitizer distribution: Supplying hand sanitizers to promote hygiene and prevent the spread of the virus.

These efforts aimed to:

1. Combat oxygen shortages during the pandemic’s peak. 2. Reduce transmission risk through mask-wearing and hand hygiene.

3. Support healthcare systems and workers.

4. Protect vulnerable groups, such as the elderly, children, and those with comorbidities.

By providing critical resources like oxygen concentrators, masks, and sanitizers, DMDS played a vital role in:

1. Saving lives

2. Reducing COVID-19 transmission

3. Supporting healthcare infrastructure

4. Promoting community resilience

BETI BACHAO/BETI PADHAO

Training Centre & Training Programme’s

Through our special project BETI BACHAO/BETI PADHAO we empower women and Make them self dependent. Through this project we skilled more than 250 women and girls to live a more independent and successful life. We provided them free training on Beautician, Ayurveda, Yoga, Personality development and many more.

CLOTH DISTRIBUTION PROGRAM

DMDS (Deulbari Mass Development Society) NGO is involved in cloth distribution to needy people, which is a wonderful initiative! This program aims to

1. Provide essential clothing items to underprivileged individuals and families.

2. Support people affected by natural disasters, poverty, or other crises.

3. Promote dignity and self-esteem among beneficiaries.

4. Encourage community involvement and social responsibility.

DMDS’s cloth distribution program likely Includes:

1. Collecting donations of new and gently used clothing.

2. Sorting and categorizing clothes for different age groups and needs.

3. Distributing clothes through organized camps or door to-door visits.

4. Collaborating with local communities, schools, and other organizations to reach the most needy.

ANTI-DRUGS AWARENESS PROGRAM

Here’s a possible outline for an Anti-Drug Awareness Program organized by DMDS NGO: Title: “Empowering Youth, Building a Drug-Free Future”

Objective: To educate and raise awareness among youth about the dangers of drug abuse and promote healthy lifestyle choices.

Agenda:

1. Inaugural Section:

Welcome address by DMDS NGO representative

-Keynote speech by a renowned expert on drug abuse

2. Panel Discussion:

“Effects of Drug Abuse on Mental and Physical Health”

“Social and Economic Consequences of Drug Abuse”

3. Workshops:

“Identifying and Managing Peet Pressure”

“Building Self-Esteem and Confidence”

“Healthy Coping Mechanisms and Stress Management”

4. Skit/Street Play:

-A live performance depicting the consequences of drug abuse and the Importance of seeking help

5. Quiz Competition:

-A interactive quiz session to test participants’ knowledge about drug abuse and its effects

6. Pledge Ceremony:

Participants take a pledge to stay away from drugs and promote a drug-free lifestyle
